RDA training

Upcoming Session: Saturday, September 25th, 2021 - 9am to 4pm

This is a day long program presented by experienced surgical dental assistants and is intended for registered dental assistants who want to enhance their experience with surgical assisting, setups, infection control and specifically with dental implant surgeries.

The participants will learn:

• Introduction to dental implants and terminology

• Information gathering at the consultation appointment

• Implant placement surgery overview

• Aseptic technique- infection prevention and control ADA&C compliance

• Room preparation and take down

• Patient preparation and draping

• Surgical scrub-in and gowning

• Post-operative patient care

• Record taking template

• Supply and ordering

CE credits provided.
